Pioneered by Dr. Karyn Purvis of the Institute of Child Development, trauma informed care is an excellent model for those serving foster and adopted children. We are conducting training on this unique approach this Friday, March 10th. At the training we will look at the four styles of attachment, identify insecure and secure attachment dynamics, and gain practical skill to create a relationship for effective correction.
