I am thankful for the little things like new socks, old jeans, Peach Nehi, and laughing babies. I’m grateful for my porch, where I relax, my bed where I rest, and a home I can call my own. My list of thanksgiving consists of all kinds of people: teachers, social workers, youth ministers, pastors and counselors; servants making the world a better place. For risking their lives to make the world a safer place; police, soldiers, and first responders of every kind, are also worthy of my appreciation. I’m also obliged to give a hearty thanks for my dear wife and four wonderful children, without whom life would be dull and gray.
There’s just so much, but there’s nothing in my life more precious and valuable, nothing that stirs my appreciation more, than my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Take Away: There is nothing in my life more precious and valuable, nothing that stirs my appreciation more, than my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
