“Serving at the Salvation Army was really meaningful,” said one of our young ladies. “While I may not live with my family, I have all I need and I don’t have to worry about food. Most of the people we served have to worry about having enough food, yet they smiled and were grateful for our help. I will never forget that,” she said.
After a bit of lunch, the next stop was Gleaning for the World. Here our children packaged bedding, and made hygiene kits for young women in Africa. “Knowing I am making someone’s life a bit better, makes my life a lot better,” explained another youth. Thank you kids!
