The nation was in the early stages of the War in Vietnam but the War on Poverty had not yet destroyed the nation’s work ethic. Rock‐n‐Roll was popular but the “British Invasion” hadn't yet sparked the evolution of today’s entertainment centered pop‐culture.
Few could have imagined in 1961 that the greatest and fastest expansion of technology and innovation in human history would explode in the next five decades. Cell phones, computers, Facebook, e‐mails, texting, reality TV, and Google searches were very foreign to the world I was born into.
