The nation was in the early stages of the War in Vietnam but the War on Poverty had not yet destroyed the nation’s work ethic. Rock-n-Roll was popular but the British Invasion hadn't yet sparked the evolution of today’s entertainment centered pop-culture.
Few could have imagined in 1961 that the greatest and fastest expansion of technology and innovation in human history would explode in the next five decades. Cell phones, computers, Facebook, e-mails, texting, reality TV, and Google searches were very foreign to the world I was born into.
Things do change with time. But man’s fallen nature doesn't. Thankfully, God’s sovereign love doesn't either.
