The social elites, using primarily schools, media outlets, and government power, have led us to believe that the highest moral standard today is not to offend someone. Community standards, morality, and codes of decency are slowly changing in order to embrace those who were formally outside the boundaries of convention. We are now afraid to be seen as intolerant or the perpetrators of hurt feelings – as if people suddenly have a constitutional right not to be offended.
Of course the religious, the moral, and the practitioners of the traditional are being offended with the greatest of mean-spirited intolerance. The hypocrisy of the tolerance police is only surpassed by their shame. But let us never forget that truth, even told in love, will hurt feelings, and intolerance of sin can be a virtue.
Take away quotes: The hypocrisy of the tolerance police is only surpassed by their shame.
