Parents listening to me today, do you have a vision for your ministry? It shouldn’t just be about surviving parenthood. “Hanging on,” “getting by,” “doing the best you can,” isn’t visionary. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision the people perish.” Now, hear that verse with the ministry of parenting in mind. “Where there is no vision the children perish.”
A parent’s vision for their ministry must also be more than just keeping them from sex, drugs, and R rated movies. Visions should be big and bold and bursting with the very best of desires and destinations. It starts with the goal of seeing their children saved. But it ends with their children having the power to save the world.
Take Away: Visions should be big and bold and bursting with the very best of desires and destinations.
