She explained that such opportunities would include being a part of regular family life, with real life responsibilities surrounded by love, living in a neighborhood, going to the same church where she could marry one day, and having a family that will be a part of her life forever.
While we have traditionally cared of children in crisis, to date it has been done through professional parenting in residential based facilities. Increasingly, we are seeing that many simply need a loving family. Over the course of the upcoming year, we hope to recruit families in order to give more stability to those who don’t require residential care. The goal is to take care of more children in the least restrictive, and more natural environments.
