Young children love to use the word “why." Armed with naive curiosity and one simple three letter word they explore their world – true scientist.
No biases, no preconceived notions, no points to makes, just wide eyed wonderment. It sometimes drives us adults crazy but it also causes us to be a bit envious. What wouldn't we give to have that unrestrained love of learning again?
But alas, there is nothing we can give to get that back. We are adults now. We got our grown-up pants on. We got it all figured out. Right? No, probably not.
So, why not make “why” our favorite word again. Why not ask more questions then we give answers. Let’s be inquisitive again. Let’s explore again. Let’s get out there and be a little more nosy and little less knowing. It could make life a lot more interesting and certainly a lot more fun.
