It doesn't matter the historical period or the culture of people, hope springs eternal. Faith and life really doesn't exist without it. Scripture tell us that faith is the substance of things hoped for. When you give someone hope you give them a most precious gift. You give them reason to press on, the strength to persevere, the resolve to put actions to their dreams.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. May this day, and the next, be filled abundantly with confidence, expectation, and anticipation. In other words - hope.
