Charles Kingsley summed it up best, “Thank God every morning when you get up that you have something to do which must be done, whether you like it or not. Being forced to work, and forced to do your best, will breed in you temperance, self-control, diligence, strength of will, content, and a hundred other virtues which the idle never know.”
I believe jobs are good because paychecks are crucial. A job, however, has greater value than the money it provides. The real worth of a job is the work itself. God created us to work. Work is a blessing, not a curse. We should head to our jobs with the happy melody, “Hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work we go.”
Take Away: A job has greater value than the money it provides.
