According to these statics, fatherlessness is at the very heart of every major social problem facing children and teens today. But we don’t hear much about that from the media, academia, or politicians. Why? Our nation's cultural elites ignore the connection between the fatherless and these social problems because it does not fit the vested narrative.
They love to tout things like poverty, racism, and poor education for the ills of our youth. These require complicated and expensive solutions. But in reality, much of what afflicts our young people can be prevented by the presence of a father in the home. No laws. No taxes. No programs administered by government bureaucrats. Just a dad. It’s that simple.
