“Commitment precedes resources.”
I know it doesn't sound profound but give it some time. Commitment precedes resources.
Most people hold their commitment to an action or a cause until they see evidence of the resources needed to act. Or, they falsely assume that great deeds are only accomplished by those who first had the resources to accomplish those things. Truth is that the laws of the universe are just the opposite. Resources become available and flow toward those who make great commitments.
Do you want to feed the hungry, care for the homeless, or maybe share the Good News with the world? Don’t wait for the resources. Make the commitment to do those things God has placed in your heart, then look for the assets you need and they will begin to appear because commitment always comes before resources.
