Dear parents, you do not have to have knowledge of child psychology to be good parents. You don’t even have to be experts at parenting. You just have to be there, to be present when your presence is needed most: to hold their hands, to give them hugs, to kiss their wounds. And be there to wipe away their tears.
You also have to be there when they are bullied, when their heart is broken for the first time, when they mess up, make a mistake, and fail so miserably. Be there. That is good parenting.
Take Away: Be there. That is good parenting.
