Straight Talk began as a random idea when I turned fifty. I wrote a list of 50 lessons I had learned in my five decades of life. I later shared it with the staff at Patrick Henry Family Services. These lessons eventually turned into sixty second radio spots heard weekdays on Spirit FM and presented in written form on this facebook page and the straighttalkwithrobertday.org website.
But, Straight Talk is more than random thoughts. It’s an attempt to get all of us to reconsider what we are thinking and doing as a society. Our culture is in deep trouble. Most aware and concerned adults know something is wrong. Straight Talk is an attempt to address the issues confronting us in a straight forward and honest way – to challenge the way we think and live.
